"Desde San Diego nos llega esta sorpresa sonora. Desde que salieron a la luz sus primeros temas colgados en la página de Bandcamp no han parado de cosechar todo tipo de halagos. La respuesta desde Internet fue inmediata. Cults formada por el dúo Brian Oblivion y Madeline Follin, pareja también en la vida real, eran solo un par de críos cuando empezaron a hacer música en su ciudad natal. La música de esta joven pareja suena dulce, delicada, sus canciones suenan frescas y se sostienen sobre una base sonora cuidada con mimo, y eso se nota. El tema «Go Outside» nos engancha desde su primera escucha, el xilófono suena genial. Están en la onda de grupos como Best Coast o a los también recién llegados Twin Sister."
